PSYCHOSOCIAL RISK FACTOR SURVEY
The Psychosocial Risk Factor Survey (PRFS) is an assessment tool designed to screen for primary psychosocial risk factors of Depression, Anxiety, Anger/Hostility and Social Isolation. It also screens for Emotional Guardedness. The PRFS has been validated on cardiac and pulmonary patients.
The PRFS has been useful for screening for psychosocial risk factors at the outset of treatment as well as post-treatment outcomes.
Please visit the website dedicated to the PRFS for useful information as well as free patient handouts describing each of the psychosocial factors measured.
